As per PMBOK 7, the PMI gives 50% priority to the Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid Models of SDLC. The project is driven by 3 domains. The domains have tasks and task enablers to be considered during project management.

As per PMPBOK 6, the Project Management was more focused on Predictive (Waterfall) methods of SDLC. It is divided into 5 Proces Groups and 10 Knowledge Areas.  There were 47 activities that were done during project management. There are more than 130 tools and techniques from 7 different categories.
