Description
The most common communication methods used in projects are- Face-to-face meetings, Telephone calls, Emails, Instant messaging, and Web conferencing.
It is a systematic procedure, mainly used to communicate among the stakeholders of the project. It can be of several types –
- Interactive communication (multi-directional)
- Push communication (actively sent to the receiver)
- Pull communication (recipient access the contents)
- Interpersonal communication (face-to-face among the individuals)
- Small group communication (within groups of around three to six people)
- Public communication (addressing a group)
- Mass communication (communicating to large anonymous group/s)
- Networks and social computing communication (by social and computing media)
It is an independently-used project management tool.
