It sounds similar to Process Analysis but it is a different technique. Product Analysis is used for Scope Management.Process Analysis is used for Quality Management.
It involves asking questions that would help decide the characteristic features and properties of the product or service that has to be delivered. It is a technique by which product objective(s) is/are translated into product requirement(s).
Product analysis is done using several other techniques.
