Stakeholder
A stakeholder is a person, group, or organization that has a vested interest in a project or organization or one who is directly or indirectly influenced by the success or failure of the project.
The stakeholder can be internal or external to the organization. This can include employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, government agencies, and the general public, as well as anyone who is directly or indirectly affected by the results or activities of the project or organization.
Stakeholders can have a positive or negative effect on a project or organization, so it’s important to find them, get them involved, and manage them well to make sure the project or organization is successful.
To manage stakeholders well, you need to know what their needs, interests, and concerns are and work to address them in a way that is open and collaborative.
