Quality Management Plan
A Quality Management Plan (QMP) is a document that lays out how a project will deal with quality management. It is an important part of project management because it shows how the project team will make sure that the results meet or go above and beyond what the customer wants.
The QMP should have the following things in it:
Quality Objectives: A list of the project’s quality goals, including aims that can be measured and specific factors that must be met.
Quality Standards: The standards for quality that must be met for the project, including any standards, rules, or laws that are relevant to the business.
Quality assurance is the methods and processes that will be used to make sure the project meets the quality standards. This includes how the team will measure, watch, and analyse quality throughout the project’s lifecycle.
Quality Control: The methods that will be used to find and fix quality problems, such as how the team will try to avoid mistakes, find them, and fix them.
Quality Roles and Responsibilities: The roles and responsibilities of each team member in terms of quality management, including who will be in charge of quality certification, quality control, and general quality management.
Quality Tools and Techniques: The tools and techniques that will be used to handle quality, such as checking, testing, reports, and other quality management techniques.
Quality Reporting: How quality will be recorded, including how often and in what format reports will be sent, who will get them, and how they will be used to run the project.
The Quality Management Plan should be a detailed record that shows how the project team will make sure that the products meet or go above and beyond what the customer wants. Throughout the project’s lifetime, it should be looked at often and changed as needed.
