Sprint (Agile)
In the Agile development method, a Sprint is a set amount of time, usually one to four weeks, during which a cross-functional team works to finish a set of features, user stories, or product backlog items.
It is a key part of the Scrum framework, which is used in Agile development. Its goal is to encourage frequent inspection, change, and delivering value to the customer.
During a Sprint, the team plans and does the work that needs to be done to reach the Sprint’s goals and objectives. This means having daily Scrum meetings, making and updating task boards, and delivering pieces of the product that could be shipped at the end of each Sprint.Â
