Flowchart
A flowchart is a picture of a process or routine that shows the steps needed to finish a job by using different shapes and symbols. The plan helps you see how the whole process works and helps you find possible problems or places to improve. Here are the most popular images used to make flowcharts:
Start/End sign: This symbol shows where a process or motion starts and where it ends.
Process symbol: The process sign stands for a step or move in the process.
Decision symbol: This sign shows a point in the process where a choice must be made and the process could go in one of two or more directions.
Input/Output symbol: This sign stands for data or information that is either put into the process or taken out of it.
Connector sign: This symbol links different parts of the flowchart together so that the process can go in a different way.
Follow these steps to make a flowchart:
Figure out what process or routine you want to show.
Find out where the process starts and where it ends.
Find the different steps or things that need to be done.
Choose the images that will represent each step or action.
Use arrows or lines to connect the symbols together to show how the process works.
Check the plan to make sure it shows the process correctly and points out any possible problems or places to improve.
Flowcharts are a good way to see how complicated processes and workflows work. This makes it easier to analyze and improve the process.
