Team Performance Assessments
The project management team will conduct formal or informal evaluations of the performance of the project team at various stages over the course of the implementation of initiatives to improve the project team, such as training, team building, and colocation.
It is anticipated that more effective tactics and activities for team development will raise the team’s performance, which in turn will increase the possibility of the project’s goals being met.
The assessment of the efficacy of a team may include metrics such as the following:
- Improvements in individual members’ abilities that make it possible for them to carry out their duties more efficiently
- Enhancements to individuals’ skillsets that enable the team as a whole to function more effectively
- Reduced the rate of employee turnover, enhanced cohesion within the team, characterized by open information and experience sharing as well as mutual assistance for the purpose of enhancing the overall performance of the project
