Business Model Canvas
The Business Model Canvas is a tool for strategic management and entrepreneurship that is used to create, develop, and analyse business models. It is a picture with nine parts that show the most important parts of a business.
The Business Model Canvas is made up of nine parts:
Customer segments are the different groups of customers that a business serves or wants to serve.
Value Proposition: The unique value that a business gives to its customers.
Channels are the ways that a company gets its goods or services to its customers.
Customer relationships are the ways in which a business interacts with its customers.
Revenue streams are the various ways a business makes money.
Key resources are the things a business needs in order to make, improve, and sell its products or services.
Key activities are the things a business needs to do to make, improve, and sell its products or services.
Key partnerships are the people or companies that a business needs to work with to make, improve, and sell its goods or services.
Cost structure is the cost of making, developing, and delivering a product or service by a business.
The Business Model Canvas is a useful tool for entrepreneurs and businesses of all sizes and stages of growth. It makes it easy to see how the main parts of a business model work together and can be used to find strengths, weaknesses, and places to improve. By looking at each part of the Business Model Canvas, a business can learn more about its customers, its value proposition, and the resources and activities it needs to use to create and deliver value to its customers.
