What is Risk Register?

Consider a Risk Register in project management to be a notebook or diary where you keep track of any potential difficulties or risks in your project, similar to jotting down barriers on a hiking course. It is a document that documents and organizes all of the hazards discovered in a project. It describes each risk in detail, including what may go wrong, how probable it is to occur, how severe it could be, and what measures are in place to deal with or mitigate these risks. It keeps the project team informed of potential issues, allowing them to be prepared and take action to avoid or minimize these risks as the project advances.
