In project management, risk enhancement entails taking proactive actions to maximize the potential upside or good result of a risk. It’s like piling on additional toppings to make your pizza even better than you thought. Rather than just limiting or eliminating a risk, this technique seeks to maximize the possible advantages if the risk is successful. It entails steps that increase the likelihood of a risk having a positive influence on the project, transforming it into an opportunity for higher gain. Essentially, it is about taking steps to magnify the positive benefits of a risk in order to increase the project’s success.
