In project management, resource leveling is similar to rearranging jobs to maintain a smooth and consistent workflow, similar to distributing your responsibilities across the week to prevent completing everything on a single day. It is altering the schedule of operations within a project to prevent overburdening resources (such as people, equipment, or time) during specified times. The objective is to distribute the workload evenly over the project schedule, ensuring that resources are used regularly and without any excessive surges, allowing the project to run at a balanced and controllable pace.
