What is Control Chart?

Assume you’re driving and have a dashboard that displays your speed. A control chart is similar to a project plan. It allows you to keep track of how things are progressing. Consider a graph that records the progress of your project, similar to how your speedometer displays your speed. It shows you if your project is progressing smoothly and within predicted limitations, or whether there are bumps and variances. A control chart, like slowing down if you get too fast, lets project managers see problems early and make modifications to keep things on track.
