Wat is Finish-to-Start (FS) relationship?

In project management, the Finish to Start (FS) connection is analogous to a step-by-step procedure in which one activity must be completed before the next one can begin, much like finishing baking a cake before icing it. When one activity is finished, the next one is started. It’s similar to viewing a movie; you can only begin watching the sequel once you’ve seen the first. This connection in project tasks means that job B cannot begin until Task A is completed—there is a straight sequence, and the completion of the first job triggers the commencement of the next.
