A Team Charter in project management is a combination of a team’s regulations and roadmap. Assume you and your buddies are forming a club. The Team Charter would be similar to outlining the club’s objectives, regulations, and obligations. In project management, it is a document that outlines the team’s mission, objectives, responsibilities, and how they will collaborate. It acts as a team GPS, keeping everyone on the same page by describing what is expected, how choices will be made, and what success looks like. The Team Charter promotes common understanding among team members and directs them toward effective goal achievement.
