A statistical sampling is similar to obtaining a representative sample from a large batch in order to better understand the entire batch. Consider preparing cookies and taking a tiny sample to see if they’re perfectly baked—this is statistical sampling. In projects, it is necessary to examine a smaller portion of the project, such as a sample set of activities or data, in order to determine how the overall project may be functioning. You may make confident assumptions about the broader project without having to inspect every single aspect by examining this smaller group using statistical approaches. It saves time while providing an overall picture of how things are progressing.
