What are Specification Limits?
The Specification Limits are similar to the boundaries or standards that determine how something should be done or what is allowed. It’s similar to following a recipe while baking cookies—the temperature and time specified in the recipe are your specification boundaries. These boundaries in projects are the established criteria or standards that determine what is acceptable or within the expected range for quality, performance, or other project characteristics. If a task or product achieves these criteria, it is called complete. If it exceeds certain limitations, it may require alterations or may fail to achieve the required criteria. It’s similar to having guardrails that regulate how things should be done or created to guarantee certain expectations are met.
