The Cause and Effect Diagram, often known as the Fishbone Diagram, is a visual aid for determining why something went wrong or why a problem exists. Consider it similar to creating a map to figure out why your computer failed. In this design, the major issue, such as a computer crash, is at the top of the fish, and you draw “bones” branching out to represent many likely causes, such as internet troubles, software faults, or hardware problems. It assists you in exploring all probable reasons and understanding what may have caused the primary issue, similar to completing a jigsaw to figure out what happened.
