The Activity on Node (AON) approach in project management is analogous to sketching a map of your project with boxes and arrows. Each box represents a task, and the arrows indicate which activities must be completed before others may begin. It’s similar to creating a path from one task to the next to determine the sequence in which they should occur. This strategy assists you in determining which activities are interdependent and which may occur concurrently. It is a method of displaying the work sequence in your project.
