What is Activity-on-Node (AON)?

The Activity on Node (AON) approach in project management is analogous to sketching a map of your project with boxes and arrows. Each box represents a task, and the arrows indicate which activities must be completed before others may begin. It’s similar to creating a path from one task to the next to determine the sequence in which they should occur.
