An Accepted Deliverable is equivalent to giving a green light or a thumbs up to anything that has been completed in a project. Assume you’re preparing a cake: after it’s fully cooked, iced, and ready to serve, and everyone thinks that it looks and tastes excellent, you’ve accepted the finished cake as a success. Similarly, when a piece of work or a job is performed in a project and it fits all of the conditions that were established, everyone involved believes that it was done well and meets their expectations. This is referred to as accepting the deliverable.
